Strong Challenge

Clarksons are entering strong teams to compete in this year’s David Bradley Memorial Trophy, open to all member companies of the Baltic Exchange and awarded to the company which outperforms the others in three different sports – sailing, golf and tennis. The event starts with sailing at Sea View on the Isle of Wight on 22/3 May, followed by golf at Moor Park Golf Club on 9 June, culminating in tennis at Surbiton Lawn Tennis Club on 8 July. In all, 18 members of Clarksons’ London staff and clients are taking part.

David Bradley, after whom the trophy is named, was Senior Freight Reporter with the Baltic and a very popular ‘character’, who died very suddenly in his 50s in 2008.
