New Head of Clarksons Offshore, Houston

Kjetil Stangeland has been appointed Managing Director of Clarksons’ rapidly expanding offshore business in Houston. He has been an offshore broker, specialising in drilling rigs and newbuilds, since 1997, first with R S Platou Offshore, then with Normarine Offshore Consultants, before joining Clarksons Offshore in Houston a little over five years ago. His education began in Norway and continued in the USA, culminating in an MBA from the University of Houston.
